UTVUnderground.com rises to the top in 2009

There is no shortage of websites or forums dedicated to the UTV hobby and industry. So when UTV enthusiasts Joey DiGiovanni, Daniel Rosenzweig, and Rusty Baptist decided they wanted to launch a new UTV online community in January of 2009 it was imperative that they do something different. They knew they wanted to include all UTV’s, and they knew they wanted to give the UTV racing community more exposure.
Fast forward 11 months and UTVUnderground.com has become synonymous with UTV racing. It is almost impossible to attend a West Coast UTV event and not see a UTVUnderground.com sticker on a race or show car. UTVUnderground.com hats, shirts, and hoodies seem to fill the pits at races and the isles at industry shows.
UTVUnderground.com has gained a strong edge over its competition thanks in large part to top name racers like Robert VanBeekum who proudly display the sites logos on their race cars. In return the racers receive exposure for their sponsors and coverage for their accomplishments.
UTVUnderground.com has provided a place for racing, fabricating, and recreational UTV enthusiasts to get together and discuss the sport and hobby they love. The Underground as it is called by its members is a place where you are guaranteed up to date and sometimes up to the minute event results, commentary, pictures, and videos. It is a place where friendships are made and ideas are shared. And it is a place dedicated to providing a professional and family friendly atmosphere.
2009 was an exciting year in the UTV industry. Despite the rough economy manufacturers have continued to make amazing vehicles. Aftermarket manufacturers, fabricators, and retailers have remained committed to providing the community with new and innovative aftermarket performance, safety, and convenience products. 2009 proved that UTV’s are here for the long haul. At a recent event at the Glamis Dunes in California an influential industry professional was heard saying that Quads and Dirt Bikes are becoming a thing of the past in the desert. Just look around next time you are in the dunes or desert and try to argue that!
UTVUnderground.com is one of the only online UTV Communities that exhibit and attend the industries biggest shows.
Site founder and the sites daily operator Joey DiGiovanni (Joey D. as he is known to the UTV community) made it a top priority to seek out the best manufacturers and aftermarket parts suppliers to come on and sponsor UTVUnderground.com. His goal was to provide the members with direct access to these companies and in return give the companies a direct line of communication to its customers. The priority paid off, and as of today Underground members have over 25 sponsoring companies to choose from and many of those companies have representatives interacting with the Underground’s members answering questions and providing advice almost daily. Take a look at the sponsor list and you will quickly notice some of the top names in the UTV industry. Companies like Walker Evans Racing, Black Rhino Performance, and Magnum Off Road have made UTVUnderground.com the site they choose to advertise on because of the all inclusive UTV layout, and professional atmosphere. On any given day it’s not uncommon to find influential industry leaders like Rob Muzzy of Muzzys Performance Products or Jason Weller of Weller Racing discussing topics of interests in the sites forum threads. Top racers like Mike Lasher of Lasher Motorsports, Austin Kimbrell, and Bobby VanBeekum of Team XMF, and Chad George of Kawasaki Team Green / Funco Motorsports are all members and can be found discussing the race events they compete in as well as showing off their cars and the products that make them the tops in UTV Racing.
