Bigelow Motorsports3/10/14-Sharpsburg, MD-For Immediate Release: Bigelow Motorsports is primed and ready for the 2014 GNCC UTV racing season. This year the #313 and #314 Polaris RZR’s of Troy Bigelow and Doug Bigelow will be competeing for the entire 6 rounds of the GNCC UTV season. The 313 RZR driven by Troy Bigelow will compete in the XC2 class and the 314 RZR driven by Doug Bigelow will be in the XC3 class. “We have competed in all types of motorsports over the years and are really looking forward to the whole complete schedule with the GNCC racing series”, noted Doug Bigelow. “Getting our feet wet with the series last year was awesome, this year we want to expand on what we learned and we want to bring home a championship for our sponsors in each of our classes,” he also contributed.
The GNCC racing series is one of the oldest and longest offroad racing series in the country. Competitors race on motorbikes, atv’s and now utv’s throughout the 12 series stops during the year. The March 15/16 event in Washington, GA nicknamed “The General” is the opening stop for the utv racing series. Georgia’s distinctive red clay makes “The General” what it is. If there’s rain, the soil gets soft, builds deep ruts and can be very slick. But when it’s dry, this course gets hard and fast. Both situations Bigelow Motorsports excels at.
Bigelow Motorsports has been racing since 2003. The team has competed in rockcrawling, rockracing, ultra 4 events, mud bogging, short course, desert and now utv racing racing. Based out of Sharpsburg, MD the team can be followed throughout the year at www.facebook.com/bigelowmotorsports.
