DragonFire Racing Brings The Heat To Havasu!

Ever see those old maps that show the ends of the earth with the legend Beware, Here Be Dragons? Well, Dragons will definitely be in Lake Havasu, Arizona, this weekend. Team DragonFire rolls in for Round #3 of the WORCS UTV series at the waterfront home of the historic London Bridge looking for redemption.

“After a rough weekend in Primm, Nevada at Round #2 of the WORCS series, Team DragonFire is looking to put its mark on the racing map with a win at Havasu,” says DragonFire marketing man Chris Moore. “Between biblically bad weather at Round #1 and a fluke mechanical failure on the parade lap, the team is ready to show what we are really capable of.”

After these two tough outings, DragonFire-sponsored Pro Ken Benson is ready to get his XP 900 back out on the track. At Round #1 Benson was blinded by the mud when he lost his goggles, but he battled to finish second (and was taken to the ER immediately after climbing out of the car). Then Ken was nearly sidelined last race when a catastrophic failure of an OEM engine part took his RZR out on the parade lap. Talk about tough luck!

DragonFire’s sales manager Brice Ginn took one for the team and surrendered his seat in the DragonFire RZR 800 in a dramatic last-minute switch. Despite giving up a ton of horsepower, Benson put the pedal down in the Pro class and was able to pull off a respectable 17th. This time out, both Benson and his XP are healthy and ready to chart a course to the top of the podium.

Rookie driver Brice is also looking to make his mark as a racer after running aground on a rock at the first round and missing the last round to bail out Benson. Of course Brice was happy to help the team at the last race, but he is now itching more then ever to get out there and get racing.
